Childcare Benefit
The Commonwealth Government provides Childcare Benefit. All families who are Australian residents are eligible for Childcare Benefit based on an assessment of their income. CCB can be either given as a reduction on fees or by claiming it at the end of the financial year. Families must register with the Family Assistance Office (FAO) on telephone 13 61 50 to access the CCB and will then receive an income assessment notice and a reduction in the cost of care.
We must receive your documentation within 2 weeks of your child first attendance at the service.
To find out more about CCB, please contact the Family Assistance Office (FAO) on telephone 13 61 50.

PHILOSOPHY |
Our philosophy is that all children are to be treated equally and each child’s individual needs are accommodated. We provide a safe, secure, warm and caring environment, where all children feel they are special and that they belong. All children are given the opportunity to make choices and to take on new challenges through developmentally appropriate recreational activities.
Our aim is to work in partnership with families, the College and the wider community to help each individual child achieve their potential. |
ACTIVITIES |
Each day, the program offers children a choice of activities. These activities include art and craft, drama, cooking, and games - both indoor and outdoor. Children can choose whether or not to participate in organised activities or to initiate their own.
The Vacation Care program often incorporates excursions and other special activities, e.g. visits by artists or performers.
Consistent with the school's "Sunsmart" policy, children without sunhats will not be permitted outside to join in outdoor activities, except during the winter months of June, July and August when wearing a hat is optional. |
